Note: There are currently 3814 homes listed for sale in Montgomery County, that makes roughly a 4 month inventory. Sellers are getting 93% of list price on average, as opposed to 89% at this time last year. We're seeing a stable market. With the Expansion and Extension of the First-time homebuyers Tax Credit, we expect the market to continue in the same way through the winter into next year.
*Other notable sales statistics: 46% of the homes that sold last month sold in under 30 days. 19% were cash deals. (much higher than the usual 7 - 9%)
