Fannie Mae will Pay Closing Costs
On Friday, the last business day of January, Fannie Mae announced that it would pay the closing costs, up to 3.5%, on purchases of foreclosed homes in its inventory.
Fannie Mae is the country's largest provider of residential home funding, and is making this offer in an effort to clear out it's nearly 50,000 home inventory. The website HomePath.com was created to aid in selling this inventory.
But the offer is only good until May 1, 2010. 88 days.
