Note: There are currently 1400 homes listed for sale in Frederick County, that makes roughly a 6-7 month inventory. Inventory is continuing to go down month after month, the number of homes sold has increased over last year at this time. We're seeing a stable market. With the Expansion and Extension of the First-time homebuyers Tax Credit, we expect the market to continue in the same way through the winter into next year.
*Other notable sales statistics: 71% of homes sold were under $300,000. I've noticed the number of cash deals go up significantly this year... This month there were 27 cash transactions, the majority of the sales were FHA.
