MRIS has published the real estate sales statistics for Montgomery County for November 2009*

Note:  There are currently 3990 homes listed for sale in Montgomery County, that makes roughly a 4 month inventory.  Inventory is continuing to go down month after month, the number of homes sold has increased 75% over last year at this time. We're seeing a stable market.  With the Expansion and Extension of the First-time homebuyers Tax Credit, we expect the market to continue in the same way through the winter into next year.

*Other notable sales statistics:     48% of the homes that sold last month sold in under 30 days.
