MRIS has published the real estate sales statistics for Montgomery County for October 2009*

Note: There are currently 4410 homes listed for sale in Montgomery County, that makes roughly a 4 month inventory. Inventory is continuing to go down month after month, the number of homes sold has increased over last year. We're a stable market. With the Expansion and Extension of the First-time homebuyers Tax Credit, we expect the market to continue in the same way through the winter into next year.
*Other notable sales statistics: 48% of the 942 homes that sold last month sold in under 30 days. 45% were Conventional financing, 36% were FHA, and 12% were cash.

I've gotten a nationally recognized certification , CDPE, Certified Distressed Properties Expert, to equip me to help homeowners in distress.
