Note: There are currently 4855 homes listed for sale in Montgomery County, that makes roughly a 6-4 month inventory. Inventory is shrinking, prices are still falling, but at a lower rate. The number of homes sold has increased by 30% over last year. We're seeing the market stabilize.
*Other notable sales statistics: For the first time in many years, we’re seeing sales under $100,000…30 to be exact. The largest number of sales (20%) were in the $200,000 to $300,000 price range, reflecting the surge in first-time buyers and investors getting deals in the present market. 44% of the 1130 homes that sold last month sold in under 30 days.
