Why Do I Need A Buyer's Agent in the Frederick Real Estate Market?
With today's internet technology, anyone can google (or bing) and find anything. A buyer can even find the house of their dreams. To be truthful, it can be argued that you don't need an agent to find a home for you. (Although I might argue that point, because an agent will know how to search better than a buyer will...but that's a whole other post.) So why do you need a buyer's agent?
Two basic reasons: Representation and Negotiation. They kind of go hand-in-hand.
The seller's agent represents the seller, and is working in the seller's best interest. Their best interest is the highest price and the most advantageous terms.
A buyer's agent represents the buyer and negotiates for their best interest. Often this means a lower price, (but not always, as in the case of a foreclosure with multiple offers), and it means the best terms for the buyer.

Your agent will supervise the inspection process and negotiate the optimal solution to the repair issues. Your agent will be prepared for every pitfall in the closing process.
