As for Golf Communities, Frederick County has the finest.

On the Eastern end of the County you'll find The Links at Challedon, and in New Market, prestigious Holly Hills, with its beautiful course, country club, and custom homes.

Just on the other side of I-70 is West Winds, part of the Lake Linganore Communities.  Westwinds has a pool, clubhouse and tennis courts.

On the Western end of the County you'll find Hollow Creek Golf Club at Glenbrook, a lovely community in Middletown. 

In Ijamsville, the luxury community of Whiskey Creek is a beautiful course, with beautiful homes.  In Urbana, Worthington Manor is a great course.
